There's a name for it. It's called the Mental Blindspot™, and this $5 book gives you the exact playbook to help your athlete close the gap between practice and performance.

Trusted by youth athletes and their families worldwide.
This is high-performance mental training backed by evidence and real-world application.

Your athlete puts in the work. Extra reps. Extra training. Extra everything. But when the game starts, something shifts. The confidence disappears. The mistakes snowball. And the car ride home is miserable for everyone.
It's not effort. It's not talent. It's a hidden gap between how they train and how they compete, and most families never learn how to close it.
Why talented athletes underperform in competition and exactly what's happening in their head when they "freeze"
The same mental rehearsal techniques used by elite athletes, simplified so your kid can start using them this week
What to say (and what to stop saying) before, during, and after competition to build confidence instead of accidentally undermining it
How to help your athlete bounce back from errors in real time instead of spiraling through the rest of the game
Candid examples from young athletes who've used these exact tools to transform how they compete

"On the field and in the classroom, he has become a new kid. The tools he's been given can continue to be used in the future. Well worth it."

"A tremendous difference in our children's athletic performance and overall maturity. I highly recommend an investment in the mental side of athletic performance."

"Real tangible results. The care shown for your child is above and beyond."

Daniel Acosta-Laureano, M.A.
Sport Psychology Professional | Mental Performance Coach
Danny Acosta-Laureano is one of the most uniquely credentialed mental performance practitioners in the game of baseball today. With more than 30 years of experience at the intersection of elite coaching, sport psychology, and professional talent evaluation, he brings a perspective that is rare in the mental performance field one forged not in a classroom alone, but in dugouts, bullpens, scouting reports, and the lives of hundreds of young men he has developed across every level of the game.
Coach Danny holds a Master of Arts in Psychology with a Sports Performance focus from the University of Arizona Global Campus and a Master of Science in Sport Coaching from the United States Sports University. He is a member of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology and the American Psychological Association's Division 47: Exercise and Sport Psychology. He is currently pursuing certification as a Mental Performance Coach through the MPC program.
For 15 years, Coach Danny served as an Associate Scout for the San Francisco Giants, Seattle Mariners, and Texas Rangers, evaluating amateur and international talent at the highest professional level across the United States, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, and Latin America. That scouting career gave him an elite understanding of what separates projectable talent from finished ability and convinced him that the gap between the two is almost always mental, not physical.
As a collegiate head coach at the NCAA Division I and NJCAA levels, Coach Danny has led programs at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Iowa Lakes Community College, among others. His coaching philosophy has always been built on a single conviction: the most important development in any athlete happens inside, not on the field.
That conviction became the foundation of his published book The Inner Diamond: Bridging the Mental Gap in Collegiate Baseball, a 13-chapter framework integrating sport psychology, cognitive-behavioral techniques, identity development, resilience, and whole-person athlete formation. Written from the dugout and in the language of coaches, The Inner Diamond is the intellectual and practical core of everything Acosta Mental Performance offers.
Coach Danny is fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with deep cultural fluency across Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, the Caribbean, and Latin America. He delivers all services in both languages and brings an authentic cross-cultural understanding to every athlete and family he serves.
He is the founder and Managing Member of Acosta Mental Performance, LLC, a family-owned mental performance coaching and consulting practice committed to developing athletes, coaches, and teams from the inside out.
Coach Danny lives with his wife Maritza and is the proud father of three and grandfather of six. His faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of everything he does.
The work begins inside.
For less than a sports drink, you can give your athlete the mental tools that separate confident competitors from talented kids who can't get out of their own way.
